You Are Beautiful!

Until this morning I never imagined just how saying that phrase to someone can cause so many emotions. What emotions would you feel if I were to walk up to you with a camera or on social media LIVE and "say I am taking pictures of things I find Beautiful"? I watched just that in a video I will link in this blog post you may have seen the video prior it went viral and for a great reason. (Video link) people react to being called beautiful - YouTube . How did you feel? I was left smiling, recognized sadness as well, I felt empathy, and was left with questions. My questions had to do with the hurt the young lady must have endured to not be able to believe she is beautiful or accept someone else could believe it about her. If a simple act of kindness like saying " You are beautiful!" can have that effect on the world than why are we not doing that more often? I am always living by my motto be the change, I want to see a change occur especially in the world we are living in today's world we live in a world where races are being separated with Black Lives Matter & All Lives matter. I have watched social experiments on both. I believe in a world where division is created, we need to come forth and be a change. Remembering that All Lives do matter. When on our social media accounts let's start complimenting if we aren't already and l stop spreading hate. Let's remember if we don't like a particular person, we can scroll on we don't have to watch! And most importantly let's be reminded that lesson from preschool if you can't say anything nice say nothing at all. I for one and going to start speaking affirmations over the people in my life and was the difference it makes. I speak affirmations over myself I hope if you're not doing so you start! I have a homemade sign of affirmations on my fridge to remind me who I am. Mine are affirmations of the love God speaks over me, but you can create your own or purchase many books. I believe in prayer and so I put on the Armour or God and I linked a video to the Armour of a God as well. I list a few of my favorites below. Speak these to yourself and the people surrounding you have a great Saturday friend.
